Situated twenty-three kilometres from Cork City with its famous ‘English Food Market’, ‘Crawford Art Gallery’ and Saint Finbares’ Cathedral. It has extensive park land and gardens leading down to the glen and the river.
An armoury room, library, music room, drawing and dining rooms and a games room (with billiards and table-tennis) compliment the accommodation. The house also has its own chapel.
The Upstairs Flat £400/week (self-catering)
This is a self-contained flat comprising of both double and twin bedrooms with beautiful view of the gardens. It has a kitchen, sitting room and bathroom. Wi-Fi, woodstove, fireplace (and wood!) plus oil heating are all included.
The Main House £1000-1500/week (self-catering)
The main house comprises two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms, two single bedrooms, sole use of all other rooms in the house (sharing only the games room with the upstairs flat). Wi-Fi, woodstove, fireplace (and wood!) plus oil heating are all included.

There are riding stables and a tennis court in the village and many lovely walks in the surrounding countryside. The house is less than an hours’ drive to many attractions including Blarney Castle, the Rock of Cashel, various sandy beaches, Fota House and Zoo, Cobh Harbour (where the Titanic set sail on its doomed voyage), the picturesque seaside town of Kinsale (Gourmet Capital of Ireland) as well as the Mitchelstown Caves. The whole of the South West coast of Ireland is within a day’s round trip from Glenville.
